Remember that Tejashwi Yadav is the son of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav. Lalu Yadav is currently in jail in the fodder scam, hence Tejashwi is fighting the battle for change in Bihar alone. In the RJD's election manifesto, Tejashwi announced 10 lakh jobs for the youth of Bihar.

Tejashwi has consistently attacked the failures of the current Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar during the Corona lockdown. It should be known that Nitish Kumar is the Chief Minister of Bihar for the last 15 years and till now there is a condition of education, employment, and many problems in Bihar. This time, Tejashwi has raised these issues considerably.

Tejashwi also took a taunt at Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's promise of providing 19 lakh jobs, Tejashwi said, "Who is the CM face of the BJP? Nitish Kumar. Was he able to provide jobs? He already surrendered and said he couldn’t give more jobs. Then how will BJP offer 19 lakh jobs? Whom are they fooling?”.

The RJD is set to contest the upcoming Bihar Election in alliance with the Congress and the Left parties alliance called Mahagathbandhan.

The elections for 243 Assembly seats will be held in three phases - for 71 seats on October 28, for 94 seats on November 3, and the remaining 78 on November 7. The results will be announced on November 10.
