Will NEET be held twice from next year?

According to the news, activist Vivek Pandey had asked in RTI whether NTA will conduct the NEET exam twice from next year? According to the reply sent by NTA, according to the current rule, the NEET-UG examination is to be done only once a year. And NTA also said that there is no justification for conducting the NEET exam twice a year.

However, last year, NTA director Vineet Joshi had said to get it done twice a year from 2021. It is known that the Engineering Entrance Examination JEE Mains Examination is also done twice a year.

After the establishment of the NTA, it was said that NEET would be held twice a year in online mode, but so far it has not been done and it seems that there is no possibility in the future.
