The debate started on Twitter between D. Roopa and True Indology. The debate started with a ban on firecrackers on Diwali. True Indology was suspended by Twitter after the fighting debate. Roopa accused the page of misleading people with half-baked knowledge, using abusive language, as well as disobeying government and NGT orders.

It has been alleged that the officer has suspended the account using his powers.
Kangana and Kapil raised their voices For This Issue
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and BJP leader Kapil Mishra have also raised their voice over suspension of "True Indology" account.
Kangana Ranaut has questioned Twitter policies and alleged that the social media platform's "bias and propaganda is embarrassing." According to Kangana, the account was banned "because he busted fake narratives of our history?"
"Shame on you, waiting for the day when you will be banned in India, hope PMO India takes action against Twitter," the actor said. There is history to Kangana's outrage at Twitter - her sister Rangoli Chandel's account was earlier suspended by Twitter.
Delhi BJP leader Kapil Mishra said that this is the second time Twitter has "unreasonably" suspended one of the most informative and decent Twitter handles on the platform.

Author and Scientist Anand Ranganathan also expressed his displeasure by the action taken by Twitter.
Who is IPS D. Roopa?
Three months ago, in August, D. Roopa has been made Principal Secretary Home from the Bangalore IG Police. She is the first woman IPS from Karnataka to be appointed to this post. Roopa, a 2000 batch IPS officer, has been portrayed as a fearless and impassioned officer. Roopa has been transferred 41 times due to conflicts with the system and action on several leaders. His name first came to the limelight in 2004, when the then CM of Madhya Pradesh had come to arrest Uma Bharti in an old riot case.
